Go to the Raheen roundabout on the South side of the city. This can be reached by the number 304/304 A bus from Limerick City Centre (Outside the Brown Thomas department Store) for around 1.50 Euro. South towards Kerry

Heading towards Kerry, catch bus number 7 to its terminus and hitch from the big roundabout there.

South towards [[Cork], etc]

Go to the Annacotty/Dublin Road roundabout on the East side of the city. This can be reached by the number 308 bus from Limerick City Centre (Outside the Peter Mark hairdressers on William Street) for around 1.50 Euro. From the last stop, you walk up the motorway for 20 minutes until you reach a second roundabout. Here, you turn left and stand on the side of the motorway behind some yellow lines. We waited for 5 minutes with a sign at this spot and got a lift to Dublin city.
