Kalmar is a city in southeastern Sweden.

North towards Västervik, Norrköping E 22
The best spot to get a lift north is the onramp onto the E22 near IKEA, as this shopping complex is on the northern end of the city and draws people from the surrounding countryside. Hitch before the motorway sign, where you can stop a car coming straight down the road or merging from another road.
