Hitching out
East towards Brno/Olomouc (35/E 442)
Take the trolleybus nr 1 or 2 from railway station, direction "Kluky" (or "Novy Hradec Králové" for 2) and get off on stop "Novy Hradec Králové". Then go back for about 200m (Partyzanska street, heading to city centre) and turn right into Lesni street. After next 200m there's a crossing with national road 35/E442. The road is very good for hitching. It is straight, so you will be seen from far away, and there's a lot of place for a driver to stop. Also the good idea is to have a board with "Svitavy", where the road splits into 43/E 461 to Brno and 35/E442 continues to Olomouc.
