: Are you sure we don't need a disclaimer? Regardless of the actual risk to hitchhikers, we're promoting something that ''has the potential'' to be a dangerous activity, and we can't and shouldn't hide the fact that hitchhiking sometimes gets people injured/raped/kidnapped or worse. I couldn't live with someone taking advice I've written, trying it out and ending up dead.
