(not sure if this the right title, but have to start somewhere)
Since its inception in 2006 Hitchwiki has become quite a big project, with thousands of people visiting the site every day. In 2013 we've experienced some server issues and it looks like we just don't have enough free time to manage everything properly. That's why we're considering ensuring consistent man hours going into the maintenance of Hitchwiki by paying a technician to work on this. MrTweek has been managing the server since the beginning and he's planning to start as a freelancer in 2014. We hope to find money that can cover 4 hours per week of his time, every week. guaka (talk) 15:51, 22 November 2013 (CET)
Not really an option. It's annoying and the money would not be very good.
Accepting Bitcoin donations
At today's rate 1 BTC would be cover more than a month. But BTC is rising, so if we e.g. get 0.1 BTC, it might just be enough to cover a whole year in 2015.
Money from other projects
guaka (talk) is working on a paradoxical project to earn money with advertising, outside of Hitchwiki. If it's successful enough we are happy to pay MrTweek for working on Hitchwiki and other projects that help grow Moneyless. Instead donating you could simply link to that project on your blog or otherwise send us link and social media love.
