Edmonton

Edmonton is the capital of Canadian province of Alberta. Hitchhiking is uncommon and one may not have very good luck in finding a ride. The author of the article is not sure whether it is illegal or not. The best bet to try and get rides are either if one is heading up north to Ft. McMurray or another oil town, or if attempting to get to Jasper via the Yellowhead. Most drivers do not trust hitchhikers. Good luck.
