Heading West towards Glasgow/Stirling can be fairly easy with a moderate amount of walking/ a single bus ride.  I do not recally which bus, but the intersection it drops you at is great.  The Intersection of the A8 and A720 is a high-traffic area.  The M8 takes you to Glasgow, while the M9 goes to Stirling (and can be further used to get into the highlands).

Hitching Out

Heading West towards Glasgow/Stirling can be fairly easy with a moderate amount of walking/ a single bus ride. I do not recally which bus, but the intersection it drops you at is great. The Intersection of the A8 and A720 is a high-traffic area. The M8 takes you to Glasgow, while the M9 goes to Stirling (and can be further used to get into the highlands).
