Udvar is the border between Hungary and Croatia. The border crossing is just at the end of the village of Udvar.
Direction North
The town of Mohács is just 10 km from the border, but if hiching to Budapest, don't bother with short rides, as there is plenty of cars going directly to Budapest.
Direction South
The city of Osijek is about 45 km from the border (road number 7/E73), from where there is a connection to the A5 motorway heading south, direction Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also the A5 motorway crosses the A3/E70 motorway about 60 km form Osijek, that you should choose if going east (direction Beograd) and west (direction Zagreb).
