Crossable rest areas in Germany

The following German [[Raststätte]]s do allow traffic to cross walk from one side to the other.
In Germany passing to the opposite rest area is often, but not always, possible through so-called "service roads". Using these service roads it takes quite often less than 20 minutes to go to the opposite rest area, and almost always the walk can be completed within 45 minutes.
Some of the information was copied verbatim from '''Tanken & Rasten 1997, Zweites Halbjahr''' (This overview is rather complete for all the last official booklet whole of the Tank & Rast organisation), and no attempt was made to verify the current situation! Germany.
This overview is rather complete (03.2015) for all the motorways north of the E30, the E30 (A30, A2, A10, A12) and the A1 up to the A38. For the central and southern part of Germany the overview is not complete.  From On [http://maps.rast.de/standorte/rast/fullscreen Rast.de] you can check more details about German Raststättes (eg. if they have wifi Wifi or showers).
