Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (English:Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) is a German Bundesland in the north-east of Germany.

It adjoins to Poland in the east, Brandenburg in the south, Niedersachsen in the west and Schleswig-Holstein in the north-west. It's capital is Schwerin.
