The Interstate Highways are the major interstate highways of the United States and are assigned with digit route number where Even numbers are assigned to east/west routes starting from the south to the north. The odd route numbers are assigned to north/south routes starting from the west toward the east.

Most Interstate highways are countrywide vehicular lane. However, exception to the rule exists as a few Interstate highways are located entirely within a State border.
