Hitchhiking out

A very difficult city to get out of with no rest areas around for dozens of miles. This town's economy is dominated by the casino thus there is no shortage of yuppies in RVs who want nothing to do with you. Heading north is dreadful and you're better off jumping onto the highway which runs adjacent to the freeway. Stanton Park is also near this highway so there is also abundant camping although this place does charge a small fee. Heading south can be equally challenging as one is forced to walk up thousands of feet of elevation on the northbound route. One is much better off simply stopping at the end of the on-ramp and putting one's thumb out.
