Hitching Out
To London, Birmingham & Cardiff
There is 2 spot to leave Bristol from the center, the M32 Silvey Services opposite Staples. petrol station seems to now be an excellent hitching spot and signing from just next to the exit, cars are able to pull in or pick you up as they leave the petrol station and whilst not all lanes can pick you up, you are highly visible and all cars will pass you. Normally less than 15 minute wait, never known to be more than 40, And a little kilometer further after the roundabout there is a long hard shoulder next with enough space for cars to stop.
