Berettyóújfalu is a village in eastern Hungary notable for being the junction between the E79, running between Debrecen and Szeged, and the E60 which goes between Budapest and the Romanian border at Oradea.

East towards Romania

Many cars passing through here belong to western Romanians who come to Hungary for shopping and only to to Oradea. If your destination is further east into Romania, it may be better to use a sign (e.g. "CJ" for Cluj-Napoca).
