Amersfoort is a city in the Netherlands, located in the province of Utrecht.

=== North, South, West, East Take bus 17 or 217 to Leusden. Go out by stop 'Bedrijventerrein de Horst'. Walk towards the south and go right. There is a petrol station (Total) where people can stop and pick you up. You're not allowd to ask people at the petrol station. Make a sign and ask people to stop at a parking next to the highway (verzorgingsplaats).

If you go to: Apeldoorn, Enschede, Osnabrück, Berlin: Make a sign with 'Apeldoorn' (A1/German A2) If you go to: Zwolle, Groningen: make a sign with 'Zwolle' (A28)

There are no good spots (like parking places of petrol stations) where you can ask drives between Amersfoort and Utrecht. If you want to to the South (Eindhoven, Belgium) of southwest ([[The Hague], Rotterdam) make a sigh futher than Utrecht.

South East Arnhem, Oberhausen A12/ German A3

Take bus 82 or 280 (only during the week). Stop at 'Kerk' in Maarsbergen. Walk in the north direction to the pomp station. Here you can ask people for a ride.

Or walk in the south direction to the la Place and ask people on the parking place.
