Hitching the A-5
The A-5 highway is a short urban spur leaving Gatineau northward to the Gatineau Park. The road continue northward as Route 105 to join the Trans-Canada 117 heading to Abitibi.

The A-50 highway is an highway currently under construction, with segment already open, and schedule to open formally open by 2012. This new highway will therefore connect the Montreal Metropolitan area near Mirabel to the National Capital Area - Gatineau and Ottawa on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River.
