Łódź is the third-largest city in Poland, with about 750 thousand inhabitants. It is the capital of Łódź (Voivodeship).
Hitching Out
South towards Piotrków Trybunalski, Częstochowa, Katowice, Bielsko Biała, Kraków, Slovakia
The best place to hitch out of the city for southern destination is the bus stop next to the hospital of Matka Polska (Polish Mother). You can get there from the city center by bus no. 70 from train station Łódź Fabryczna. It takes about 40 minutes to get there.
North towards Warsaw, Gdańsk
To hitchhike into northern direction, a good place is Strykowska road.
