Örebro is a tranquil and beautiful city with some interesting historic landmarks situated between Oslo, Gothenburg, and Stockholm. It is the self proclaimed "natural logistical centre of Scandinavia". In addition, water tower enthusiasts will also find this city an undeniably essential destination as it is home to one of Scandinavia's first water towers.

Hitching Out

South direction Gothenburg or Malmö:

From Järntorget[1] take bus 22 direction Mariebergs to the Mariebergs Köpcentrum stop. Across the street from the bus stop is a crappy American car dealership and a gas station just next to it. This gas station's accessibility to motorists going either north or south on the motorway in combination with it's distance away from the city center make it the best location for getting out of the city with someone who is going a reasonable distance.

Locals say a decent amount of traffic goes directly to Malmö from here using E20 to 50(Askersund-Motala-Mjölby) to E4. <map lat='59.21505075926967' lng='15.136553049087524' zoom='13' view='0' float='right' />
