Essentuki (Russian: Ессентуки) is a city in Russia, located in the southern part of Stavropol Krai, in the valley of the Podkumok River near the confluence of the Bugunta River. It lies 17 km west of Pyatigorsk and 200 km southeast of Stavropol.

South towards Kislovodsk and Karachayevsk via A157

Option 1 - Borgustanskoye Highway Interchange

Take minibuses 4 or 6 to the final stop "Kirpichny settlement". From the stop, walk northwest to the end of Kirpichnaya Street. Behind the bushes, you will reach the road with a concrete median. You can walk a little north and hitchhike at the end of the guardrail in the acceleration lane after the interchange.

North towards Mineralnye Vody and the airport via A157

Option 1 - Suvorovskoye Highway Interchange

Take city minibus No. 2 to "SNT Veteran". Also, suburban minibuses 101e, 102d, 117a, 118a, 722, and 6190 stop here. The guardrail ends after the interchange. There are streetlights.

East towards Pyatigorsk

Option 1 - Zolotushka Train Station and Ticket Office

There is a comfortable stopping pocket near the gas station and "Kristall" car wash.

Option 2 - Roundabout on Kislovodsk Highway

Buses 108b and 115a pass by, but there is no official stop near the roundabout.
