Hitchhiking out

South towards Novosibirsk via R225 "Sibir"

• Get to Lagerny Sad, then go down, across the bridge, past the checkpoint, under the bridge and past the cafes where there are bears in cages (you can say hi). Go past the first gas station and you’re there. The walk takes about 30 minutes.
• From Lagerny, take any PAZ bus going to Timiryazevo (routes 36 and 37 seem possible), ride one stop, then walk back along the highway past the cafes, bears, and the gas station. This option takes about 10 minutes.
• You can take bus no. 150 to the village of Chernaya Rechka. Get off at the turn to the village.

North-east towards Mariinsk via R225 "Irkutsk Trakt"

• Take buses no. 60 and 60R to the "Razvilka" stop near the village of Novomikhaylovka. Right at the junction, there is an Armenian shashlik café with a large parking area.

West towards Melnikovo via "Shegarsky Trakt"

• Take bus no. 36 or 37 to the "Timiryazevskoe village" stop, walk a bit ahead, the “Gazpromneft” gas station will be there.
• Bus no. 112 (runs rarely) to the "Kaydalovka" stop – at the gentle left turn of the highway. It’s 3 km to the roundabout with the Northern Highway.
• Take a bus from the bus station towards Melnikovo. Get off at the "Kudrinsky uchastok" stop.
