Timashevsk (Russian: Тимашевск) is a city in Krasnodar Krai, in the south of Russia, located 68 km north of Krasnodar, a bit west of the federal M4 "Don" motorway.
- The city is a major transport hub at the intersection of railway lines. Timashevskaya-1 is a key railway station of the North Caucasus Railway. High-comfort "Lastochka" trains between Rostov and Krasnodar do not enter the station but stop at the "Timashevsky Bypass" station. Within the city, there are three additional train stops: "Elektrodepo", "Sakharniy Zavod", and "63 Kilometer".
- Many drivers travel from Krasnodar through Timashevsk and Starominskaya and Bataysk to Rostov, to avoid tolls on the M4 motorway. Roads in Krasnodar Krai are of decent quality; all cities and towns are bypassed, and if you travel at night there are almost no tractors or combines.

Hitchhiking out
South towards Krasnodar
- Bus 101 to Medvedovskaya village.
- Slightly closer is the "Bednyagin Turn" stop, served by buses 113 and 114.
- City minibus route #1 from the station turns into the Sadovod district. Get off at the "Magnit" shop and return to the main road. Walk a bit south; after the traffic light there is an exit sign and a wide shoulder without fences. No street lights.
North towards Rostov-on-Don
- Roundabout intersection with Promyshlennaya street. 1.5 km from the "Timashevsky Bypass" station, where Lastochka trains from Krasnodar stop. After the railway crossing, on Parkhomenko street, there is a bus stop. However, neither Yandex nor 2GIS show which transport goes there from Timashevskaya-Uzlovaya station.
Southwest towards Novorossiysk and northwest towards Primorsko-Akhtarsk
- Interchange on the northern bypass of Timashevsk. "Sadovod" bus stop, served by buses 102, 105, and 107.
East towards Korenovsk
- Roundabout intersection on Zorge street. Immediately after the roundabout is a "On Demand" bus stop, served by buses 104 and 628.
