I don't know what you're talking about when you said hitching in Georgia is a breeze. It took me two days to get a single ride from Columbus to Atlanta (it was the only ride that stopped.) I had to sleep under a bridge. -[[User:Muninn]]

:Ouch. Sorry to hear that. I've never tried in the south, but I used to Hitchhike up and down GA-400 without a lot a trouble. The worst I've ever had happen was getting picked up by zealous evangelicals. Anyway, hopefully you have better luck in the future.
