===East towards [[Busan]] and West towards [[Gwangju]]=== South of the City Hall (the new town) area and south just across the Namgang river bend there is a big Jinju IC (intersection) to highway nr.10. Walk pass the toll gate and there is a perfect spot to hitch next to the highway authority building :) . The hitching sign is a MUST ''must'' here, because the highway splits in to two oposite opposite directions, east to [[Busan]] and west to [[Gwangju]].
