===EAST towards [[Busan]] and WEST towards [[Gwangju]]===
South of the City Hall (the new town) area and south just across the Namgang river bend there is a big Jinju IC (intersection) to highway nr.10. Walk pass the toll gate and there is a perfect spot to hitch next to the highway authority building :) The hitching sign is a MUST here, because the highway splits in to two oposite directions, east to [[Busan]] and west to [[Gwangju]].
