The best place to hitch out of the city for southern destination is the bus stop next to the hospital of <b><i>Matka Polska</i></b> (Polish Mother). You can get there from the city center by bus no. 70 from train station ''Łódź Fabryczna''. It takes about 40 minutes to get there.
