Hitchhiking in the '''West Bank''' is not a great idea, bad things can happen and people are likely to carry guns. Especially not at dark.Anyway it's still quite popular amongst young settlers due to the lack of public transportation even if their was palestinian attacks related to hitchhiking. There have been also the cas of a false palestinian hitchhiker dressed as a religious jewish witch blowed himself in a car where he get a lift.
