France

There is a "Flygathering" after Marcels successful crowdfunding for tandem paragliding equipment, probably in dune de pyla - biscarrosse, France from 3 till 15 August.

Norway

Alright, so it's confirmed that we can gather in Svullrya, Norway!

Location:

https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=18/60.40181/12.40934

https://norgeskart.no/#!?project=norgeskart&layers=1002&zoom=17&lat=6698949.21&lon=357288.40

How to get here:

In Svullrya just east of the river Rotna you'll find an open air museum called Finnetunet, from there go south on Sundtvegen, a gravel road, for about 2km. You'll get to a small junction with a gravel road going left slightly uphill (this is also where the blue marked hiking trail goes) and on the right side of the road a wooden gate. Go through the gate and walk for about 100m to get to the meadow at the lake!

What's useful to take:

- Staples like rice, pasta and lentils

- Boats/kayaks/rafts to go paddling on the lake

- Berry pickers/scoops

- We'll be able to organise a big cooking pot, so no need to drag it around hitching this time.

Other things to know:

-Like mentioned before there will be some small construction and destruction projects: a compost toilet, a fence, an outdoor sink/washing up station, chopping down some trees.

-Kongsvinger has a Coop extra that's good for dumpsterdiving, in Kirkenaer the Spar works best. Joker in Svullrya itself isn't so bad neither. There are some big shopping malls just across the border in Sweden (In Charlottenberg for example) but I haven't dumpsterdived there myself yet.

-Close by there's an open cabin (on openstreetmap it's marked as Rotneros) which can also be used during bad weather or for sleeping.

Travel restrictions

Sweden (12.07.)

+ up to 50ppl are allowed to gather

- It's considered a high risk country so coming back from Sweden could mean quarantine or entry denied for some places:

Germany: Travel warning for Sweden lifted, no test/quarantine if you arrive to Germany from Sweden. (14.7.)

France: No restrictions if you come from any EU country (22.6.)

source(government): https://www.gouvernement.fr/en/coronavirus-covid-19

Norway: Officially you can't enter from most provinces of Sweden / have to go to quarantine.

In reality the following things happen: One couple we met refused entry at the Kirna - Narvik border as they were told they have slept a night in Sweden (even though in a camping car) and can only enter if they provide an adress for quarantine. Same couple crossed at night after 10pm over the (then) unguarded border Another couple crossed the border about 200km south that border wihtout any problem/restriction after telling that they slept 5 nights in Sweden. Another traveler (with car and tent) was told as he slept in Sweden he has to go in quarantine but he wan't registered and he was told he can move freely during that quarantine. user:tobias
