It's a medium-sized southern city famous for moon-pies and Coca-Cola bottling. A lot of people around here are very religious, so it's important to be respectful when hitching.
Located about two hours from Nashville and Knoxville, Chattanooga is a great hub between major cities, and a town with lots of personality. Inside the city, electric buses run public transportation downtown and to different stores throughout the day. Also, there are many nice hiking and biking trails, a dog park, and one of the most famous southern boulder-feilds, Little Rock City.
