    Hey,

A few days ago I was at the Georgian-Russian border near Kazbegi and I wasn’t be able to cross it. After hearing many times ‘border is open only for CIS countries (ex-soviet union), I didn’t try so hard to talk the guard to let me cross (I’m turkish citizen). But after I left border one guy from Syria has crossed the border. Now I’m wondering if I should try again.
Anyone has any experiences with this border?
    thanks in advance

    Hi Unsal,

The last we heard is that they have opened the border to all nationalities now.

The best way is probably just to go there in person and find out.
