Grateful Lost

I spend my winters working on ski hills, as a snowboarding instructor.

I spend my summers either on a river teaching kayaking, or on the road, learning about life.

I dropped out of high school, a move which most frown upon, but wound up being the most important decision of my life.

I worked as an organizer for the Canadian Green Party, and although I still support them, I no longer share the idea that capitalism can green itself. I’m an Anarchist, and no, that does not mean that I run around in black throwing fire bombs at police, thats only a small part of it.

I’ve worked in a lot of hostels, and one day plan to start an eco-adventure hostel somewhere in British Colombia.

I hitchhike, couchsurf, camp and squat. This summer I will also be WWOOFing.

I wont ever be politically correct.

I love music more the life itself, and although I can’t make any of it, It defines me. I have a soundtrack for everything I do… The title of each blog post will be a song that I feel represents the post. I’ll have links to live performances of the song under “Music that Moves” feel free to read the post as you play the songs, I think it gives it a little something extra.
