I disagree with the part about hitchhiking on highways: when hiking on the onramp to the E04 near Grånna (and waiting 7 hrs) we got approached by an older swede driving into the village who told us to stand directly on the highway. As the normal had nearly non existent traffic we where missing mldt traffic going our way. He told us that even though it is illegal in Sweden to stand on the highway Swedish police is very friendly and at worst would tell us to move away. We got a ride within 1 hr while standing on the highway, as well as some honks both approving and disapproving. We didn't get approached by police in the hr we stood there and we feel sure that had we gone earlier towards the highway we would've been quicker. --Gizah (talk) 09:49, 27 August 2016 (CEST)
