If you ask nicely you might be lucky and get a lot of food for free without getting your hands dirty.
A dumpster diver is someone who turns trash into something usable or edible.
There are several reasons for dumpster diving:
- It's free (as in freedom).
- It's free (as in free beer).
- It's ecological, a form of waste reduction.
- It's fun and can be a nice social activity.
