Hitchability sign

What exactly do you mean with "direction of the hitchability sign"? --MrTweek 17:15, 13 October 2011 (CEST)

The above example shows hitchability signs for each direction. The old motorway pages show hitchability signs indeed at some junctions, but the direction is not shown, that's bad for rebuilding. --GeorgDerReisende 23:02, 13 October 2011 (CEST)

+Admin

Hi Georg, I made you administrator. Now you can delete pages yourself :) Thanks for all the good work here! guaka 01:35, 15 November 2011 (CET)

Thank you. But i need this capability also for the german part. --GeorgDerReisende 17:21, 15 November 2011 (CET)
Ok, can't do that right now but once I can I will, but I guess it might happen at the same time :) guaka 01:37, 16 November 2011 (CET)

First person

Re: Paris, instead of saying "I found a better way" and signing your edits, why not simply write "There is a better way"? There is rarely a need for a Hitchwiki editor to mention himself or herself at all, and I’ve been trying recently to clean up a lot of the signature cruft and first-person writing. A/AP in Spain

Hey, Georg

I am not angry about the work, my question was only about the need. Most help I get by G's Streetview, the names of the service stations I take from spanish pages, which offer pricelists of the fuel. --GeorgDerReisende (talk) 23:44, 1 October 2015 (CEST)

Spain, exit lists, partial, includes service stations, but not all roads are indexed. http://motorways-exitlists.com/europe/e/spain.htm More indexed roads, but no info on service stations. http://www.wegenwiki.nl/Nationale_snelwegen_in_Spanje As written before, I'm not familiar with Spain. Good luck men! --Fverhart (talk) 00:01, 2 October 2015 (CEST)

Thurrock Services

Hi! Sorry for not writing you before when I removed that Thurrock Services article, but I still stand by not having it like that. It's not very useful as is because nobody will find it like that. :-) This kind of content needs to go to maps (I know it's broken currently, but still). We can't have article for each 1000's (100000's?) of different service stations around the world. You could create a road article though and mention it there, or if there's a nearby big city mention in that city article. Otherwise it just has to wait until we get maps back again. -Mikael (talk) 12:33, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
