David first stuck up his thumb whilst travelling around Latin America. Bored of buses in Argentina, he hitchhiked from Buenos Aires to Trelew. He hitchhiked in Chile, Bolivia and Peru as well.

In 2009 he hitchhiked from London to Marrakesh, Morocco in just under three days.

Since he has hitchhiked almost all countries in Europe. France regularly. Spain occasionally.
