Country Table for Canada? It would also be possible and useful to put it on every provinces page Maplefanta 17:53, 30 December 2007 (CET)

Do you mean some tables for counties like on this wiki template for Ontario? What's the use out of it :) ? Isn't it a bit too small in terms of regions for this wiki? But if you want it of course I create such a template for you :D platschisite, wikitalk
The counties and further down regions are indeed too specific for the hitching wiki, but the regions in every provinces are still as big as Belgium or the Netherlands!! Maplefanta 18:26, 30 December 2007 (CET)
For Country table, I also meant first what has been done so far for any european country (Liechstenstein), with the flag and stuff Maplefanta 18:27, 30 December 2007 (CET)

Who wrote the part about the "Local attitude" ? Certainly not a Canadian. It does not make any sense.

a) There is not a referendum every freaking month; it happened TWICE, in 1980 and 1995. You make it sound like it happens all the time. b) Nobody has to worry when it's the elections, it's a free country and nobody's gonna attack you for your political beliefs ! c) There is no such thing as a "National referendum". d) The only exception is if you clearly have an American English accent outside of touristic areas -outside of- Montréal in Québec (not an Italian accent or a German accent), IN VERY RARE CASES, you might get a strange look but that's it. e) "intern political tumult"; that happened twice in recent history.

The only caution I have is for strangers to NOT get in heated internal politics debates as they are extremely complicated. Anyhow, you guys should look at the article on Wikitravel, section "Respect". This one does make sense. - NBN
