Helsingør (in English also known as Elsinore) is a town in northern Denmark.

Hitchhiking out

West towards Helsingborg, Sweden

Just go to the ferry terminal and ask the cars lined up to go on the ferry. There's a ferry every 20 Minutes. The ticket for one car always includes 9 passengers.

South towards Copenhagen

It's probably possible to stand at the place where the cars leave the ferry, if you didn't already find somebody in Helsingborg or on the ferry.
