To Tel Aviv
Use highways 6 or 35. However, if you are not a hardcore hitchhiker or don't want to get stuck in nowhere at night, take a bus to Jerusalem (2 EUR), then hitch in the famous begin north trempiyada. It's a much easier way back to Tel Aviv.
