Here is the report – IN german – I am filing with the German Police tomorrow. PLease keep me posted if you hear anything about this couple, likely continue to steal and harm the reputation of the Hitchhiking community.
Mein name ist Dr Carlos Lopez; ich arbeite im amerikanischen Krankenhaus – LRMC. Ich möchte zur Anzeige bringen was letzten Sonntag (18 März) passiert ist. Auf meinem Weg von München nach Landstuhl nördlich von München nahm ich ein paar Anhalter mit. Sie nahmen teil an einem Studenten Anhalter Rennen teil und waren auf dem Weg in die Niederlande. Sie erschienen mir nett. Ich habe sie nördlich von Stuttgart rausgelassen. Kurz danach bemerkte ich, dass meine braune Lederjacke welche auf dem Ruecksitz lag gestohlen wurde. (braune italienische Lederjacke). über das Internet habe ich die Anhalter Organisation versucht zu kontaktieren aber ich habe niemanden erreicht. Mir ist bewusst dass diese Anzeige mir nicht meine Lederjacke zurueckbringt, aber ich möchte hiermit andere Autofahrer warnen, dass selbst Anhalter die einer Organisation angehören nicht zu trauen ist.

Dear Community of Hitch hikers,
Apologies for not writing in German ( which I don’t speak too good ). I hope anyone can help me, forward this freely or to whom it may concern. My name is Carlos, am living in Germany for the last year . I drive a blue BMW. Yesterday Sunday March 18th, as I was driving from Munich to Kaserlautern I picked up a couple of hitchhikers who were going to the Netherlands in some sort of competition. He was an architect student and she was an art teacher.. They seem like nice people and had a pleasant ride sharing music. Unfortunately a brown leather jacket was stolen ( the lady was seating in the back sit where my jacket was ) from me.
I was so disappointed, since I have trusted them and made a good faith gesture. Not only my jacket was stolen but a sense of basic human trust, even in such a nice country like Germany. I wonder if anyone may know who I am referring to, or could contact them or share this openly . It will be nice to recuperate my jacket ( a nice new jacket that was a gift ) but also my sense of trust .
