So much for getting rusty: The San Antonio Spurs didn’t miss a beat after a weeklong break, extending a winning streak that few NBA teams have ever sustained in the playoffs.
The weary Los Angeles Clippers michael kors handbags looked just beaten — and making matters worse, they’re even a little more beat-up than when they got here.
Tim Duncan had 26 points and 10 rebounds following an eight-day layoff for the top-seeded Spurs, who wore down Los Angeles in the Clippers’ sixth game in 11 days and won Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinals series, 108-92 on Tuesday night.
’'It’s hard to tell if they were tired michael kors outlet or not. If we were rusty or not,’’ Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said. ’'The game just developed that way it did.’’
By that, he meant the latest Spurs blowout.
The Spurs have won 15 in a row, haven’t lost in more than a month and are winning by an average margin of nearly 17 points during that span. It’s the longest winning streak sustained in the NBA playoffs since the 2004 Spurs carried 17 straight wins into the second round that season.
That Spurs team, however, wound up dropping four straight to the Lakers and lost that series. The Clippers have a lot of work to do if they’re going to stage a similar stunner, and a good start would be getting healthy.
Blake Griffin scored 15 points in 28 michael korsminutes a day after estimating his sprained left knee had him feeling ’’80 percent’’ at best. The All-Star said he became tired quicker than usual, and also turned his left ankle early in the game.
’'But I’ll get back in the training room, get treatment and hope to be better the next game,’’ Griffin said.
The marquee matchup of the series — All-Star point guards Tony Parker and Chris Paul — began with a fizzle.
Paul, who ended the first round with an aching hip, scored just six points and didn’t make a single basket in the second half. Parker was barely any batter, putting together seven points and 11 assists, and didn’t talk to reporters after the game.
Paul did face the media after his worst playoff game since scoring four points in a loss to Denver in 2009. But not until after a quick chat with his young son.
’'Good game, Daddy,’’ Paul’s son said in the locker room.
’'No, bad game,’’ Paul told him. ’'Daddy had a bad game. Daddy couldn’t make a shot.’’
Paul, who was 3 of 13 from the floor, gave a more elaborate explanation to reporters. http://www.michaelkorshandbagsoutletweb.com/ -

Facebook Inc. is boosting the number of shares for sale in its initial public offering to 421 million, letting it raise as much as $16 billion, two people with knowledge of deal said.
michael kors handbagsThe world’s largest-social networking website is increasing by 25 percent an offering that was initially set at 337.4 million shares, the people said, asking not to be identified because the change hasn’t been publicly disclosed.
michael kors outletFacebook, gearing up for the largest-ever IPO of a technology company, had already increased the offering’s price range to $34 to $38 apiece, from $28 to $35 previously. Investors are betting that Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg can overcome slowing sales growth by expanding into areas such as mobile advertising and e-commerce, said Samuel Schwerin, managing partner at New York-based Millennium Technology Value Partners.
”An increasing number of institutional investors are looking beyond the value of the business today and looking at the future growth,” michael kors Schwerin, whose firm oversees $1 billion, including Facebook stock, said yesterday. ”Those drivers are extraordinary in size, including international and mobile and commerce.”
At $16 billion, Facebook’s debut would surpass that of General Motors Co. to be the second-largest in U.S. history, excluding so-called over-allotments, which let underwriters buy more shares at a later date, data compiled by Bloomberg show. http://www.michaelkorshandbagsoutletweb.com/ -

Nebraska state Sen. Deb Fischer won the Republican nomination for an open U.S. Senate seat on Tuesday, official results showed, beating two better-funded candidacies for the opportunity to face michael kors handbags off against a former U.S. Senator for the open seat in November.
Fischer’s upset toppled state Attorney General John Bruning, seen as the establishment candidate, and state Treasurer Don Stenberg, seen as the tea party favorite.
The senate race in Nebraska was the most closely watched contest on Tuesday, when GOP voters there and in Oregon cast ballots in the presidential race.
Presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney was projected to win the presidential tally in Nebraska, standing at 71% with all precincts reporting, according to the Secretary of State website. michael kors outlet In Oregon, he was ahead with 72% of the vote out of 100% of precincts tallied.
Former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania had approximately 14% of the Nebraska vote, several weeks after he suspended his White House bid. Texas Rep. Ron Paul had approximately 12% in the Oregon contest, held days after he announced that he would no longer actively campaign for the GOP nod.
In the Nebraska senate race, Brunning and Stenberg, along with their allies, spent millions against each other, while Fischer picked up late endorsements from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and one-time GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain.
She now goes head-to-head against former U.S. Sen. Bob Kerrey, who represented the state from 1988-2000, then chose not to seek reelection.
The retirement of Sen. Ben Nelson, a michael kors Democrat, left an open seat and political trends there have led to independent handicappers favoring a Republican win come November.
Fischer sailed relatively under the radar as Bruning and Stenberg waged war against each other and Kerrey, who was presumed as the Democratic nominee, faced Republican challenges to his residency in Nebraska. After stepping down from the Senate in 2001, Kerrey lived and worked in New York. http://www.michaelkorshandbagsoutletweb.com/ -

The Balkans are a great place to hitch hike. Sometimes you have to be prepared to spend a few hours waiting for a ride, but when the right one comes, you can expect the most incredible hospitality of anywhere in the world. From Romania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Albania, these people know what being a true human being is.

In the last four months I divided almost all my time between the local organizational work within the GartenCoop and spreading the word about CSA and food sovereignty. In the GartenCoop I helped moving our accountancy-system towards GNUCash, co-organized the general assembly of the GartenCoop on the 18th of March, produced the monthly radio show GartenCoop on Air , started the [...]

How do most people go about navigating this sort of journey?
